Concept
The west coast of Kyushu was the first point of contact between Japan and Eurasia.
Japan’s warm current (Kuroshio) has, since ancient times, brought a milder climate and
bountiful seafood.
Kyushu is green and mountainous; its beautiful rivers and abundant spring water are
constantly energized by unusually powerful active volcanoes
In Kumamoto, the local people, culture and cuisine has been nurtured over time by this rich
environment.
It is our pleasure to offer our bounty, with seasonal accents, from this beautiful island of Kyushu.
